Each expression will be explored through a professionally guided sensory experience led by Jackie Zykan, master blender, herbalist, independent perfumer, and founder of ODUOAK. Through her innovative “Whiskey Is My Perfume” methodology, Zykan blends the worlds of perfumery and whiskey, revealing the intricate aromatic compounds that shape each spirit.
Participants will engage in a structured sensory workshop that begins with a palate sensitivity assessment before diving into a deeper analysis of each bourbon’s aroma and flavor profile. Guests will work with blind aromatic isolates and curated scent compositions to identify the core elements that define each whiskey, gaining insight into the professional tasting techniques used by blenders and distillers.
Throughout the experience, guests will discover how specific aromatic compounds develop during whiskey production and learn a systematic approach to nosing and tasting that elevates appreciation for fine bourbon.
