Cancellation Policy

Pay Now Rates: Non-refundable, fully pre-paid. You will not receive a refund on these rates, even with 24 hours notice or more of cancellation.

Pay Later Rates: Pay Later reservations require a 1 night deposit, taken at time of booking, for all suites. For any cancellations on Pay Later Rates for a standard guestroom, notice is required by 12PM the day before arrival to avoid penalty fee. 72 hours notice required on Specialty Units, including Neighboring/Connecting rooms and City Suite or Park Suite categories. 7 days notice required on reservations for the Greenhouse Suite.

Guaranteed Reservation

Reservations must be guaranteed by a major credit card when you book. Blackout dates are subject to their own rules. For security purposes, please provide a valid government or state-issued photo ID at check-in. To cover incidentals, we’ll hold $150/day on your credit card. Know there is a smoking fee of $250/room or suite.

Early Arrival/Late Departure

Check in time is after 4PM and check out time is 12PM. Book an early flight? Want to sleep in? We’ll do our very best to accommodate you – just let us know in advance. If we can’t, we’ll gladly stow your luggage safely and securely, until you’re ready to move on. There is an early departure fee of one night’s stay plus tax. Late check-out fees apply after 12pm.

Taxes & Fees

Standard New York City taxes are applied to all reservations.

A daily $45 amenity fee per room, exclusive of tax, is applied at the time of check-in. This fee is separate from your room rate and offers unique amenities including:
Audi e-tron house car service
Mind and Movement fitness and wellness experiences
Nature-inspired programming and events
Lobby Farmstand with fresh seasonal fruit
Pet beds for our four-legged guests

Parking

Valet service is offered for standard size vehicles at $100/night plus tax for standard vehicles and $115/night plus tax for oversize vehicles for hotel guests.

Pet

Your pet is welcome here! If your room gets dirty, a $250 cleaning fee will be added at the end of your stay. Please familiarize yourself with the house rules..

The midsummer trip included several days in the concrete jungle of New York City, a place I lived 15 years ago. I still have an affinity for the city and love it's energy and symbol of human progress. In light of all of the concrete and hardscape, the 1hotel.centralpark is an urban oasis filled with signs of nature throughout. You almost feel you've stepped into another world and it provide our family a calm place to wind down after some busy days in the city. 🌳🌲🌴🎍 While they are limited on how much natural light they can bring in, they make the most of it by the bathroom being entirely glass, with a curtain you pull for privacy. Further the brought wood in the rooms in various manners beyond the floors, including the ceilings, and even a small vingette of wood on the bathroom wall. That small example in the bathroom was not a big financial move for them but provides impact to the guest. Seeing the consistency of the nature fractals, timber on ceilings, and greenery throughout shows that directionally we are improving the living spaces with the same concepts global hotel chains are implementing to provide a sanctuary to their guests. They also placed a big emphasis on literature with a nature focus. Over the many times I’ve been back since throughout my career, I’m still wowed every single time. I feel like every major city has its own signature energy, but love it or hate it, there truly is no place like New York. Every time I’ve been here has been memorable, but this business trip felt so different. I cried in more than one meeting and interview— but the happy tears.
