Waste to Wearable: The White Collection
Celebrating Earth Month in collaboration with E.L.V. DENIM, 1 Hotel Mayfair presents a one-of-a-kind dress crafted entirely from our spent bed linens. Hand-reworked and crocheted into a showstopping piece, it is now on display in our lobby—inviting you to explore the story of circular design and second life.

About E.L.V. DENIM
E.L.V. DENIM is a London-based sustainable brand committed to zero-waste design. Founded by creative director Anna Foster, the label transforms unwanted textiles into timeless, made-to-order pieces—championing circular fashion and local craftsmanship. Best known for its signature concept “two pairs of jeans make one,” E.L.V. DENIM creates every garment without the use of new fabric rolls. Each piece is thoughtfully made in East London, proving that sustainability and style can effortlessly coexist.
From Waste to Runway
Earlier this year at London Fashion Week, we partnered with E.L.V. DENIM to create a one-of-a-kind, hand-knitted dress crafted entirely from our spent bed linens. Each sheet was hand-torn, reworked, and crocheted into a show-stopping piece that debuted as part of E.L.V. DENIM’s presentation—the first fully upcycled brand to show on-schedule at Fashion Week.
To mark Earth Month, this special creation will be on display in the lobby of 1 Hotel Mayfair throughout April. It stands as a powerful symbol of what’s possible when innovation meets intention, and a celebration of the beauty found in second chances.
