Musubi with Beni
Rooted in Japanese tradition, Musubi is the art of rope-tying—an expressive practice that transforms objects into lasting symbols of memory and meaning.
On May 21 at Spotted Stone, Beni Shibari will present two special Musubi sessions.
The experience begins with a live performance, where Beni will create a large-scale communal installation, tying together space and presence. Following this, guests are invited to participate by commissioning a bespoke tying of a small, cherished item. This could be a teddy bear, a picture frame, a favorite bottle of wine, or a meaningful object brought from—or purchased during—their time in Tokyo as a gift for someone special.
Throughout the evening, a selection of bespoke cocktails inspired by Beni will be served at the bar. The atmosphere will be chic yet welcoming—an intimate, social space designed to foster connection and shared experience.
