CANCELLATION
Pay Now rates are non-refundable and fully pre-paid. You will not receive a refund on these rates, even with three days’ notice or more of cancellation.
Pay Later rates require a one-night deposit for specialty suites and specialty units. For any cancellations on Pay Later rates for standard guestrooms, notice by 12pm three days before arrival is required to avoid a fee of one night’s rate plus tax. Seven days’ notice is required for specialty accommodations. If you simply don't show up, we’ll charge one night's stay plus tax to the credit card on file.
GUARANTEE, DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
Reservations must be guaranteed by a major credit card when you book. Blackout dates are subject to their own rules. For security purposes, please provide a valid government or state-issued photo ID at check-in. To cover incidentals, we’ll hold $150 per night on your credit card. Cash payment is not accepted.
EARLY ARRIVALS/LATE DEPARTURES
Check-in time is 4pm and check-out time is 12pm. Book an early flight? Want to sleep in? We’ll do our very best to accommodate you— just let us know in advance. If we can’t, we’ll gladly stow your luggage safely and securely, until you’re ready to move on. There is an early departure fee of one night’s stay plus tax.
TAXES & FEES
Standard San Francisco taxes and tourism assessments are applied to all reservations.
A daily $42 destination fee per room, exclusive of tax, is applied at the time of check-in and includes:
Audi e-tron house car service (upon availability–first come, first served)
Mind and Movement–offering a variety of fitness and wellness experiences
In-room Nespresso coffee
Casting to in-room TV from your personal device
Lobby Farmstand
Electric bikes
Filtered drinking water taps on each floor
PETs
Your pet is welcome here! Just add them to your reservation when you book online or reach out to us to let us know they'll be joining you. We understand that sometimes pets can act like animals (and wreck things). If that happens, there may be additional costs for the repair of any damages or additional cleaning requirements. Please familiarize yourself with the house rules.
PARKING
Valet service is offered for standard size vehicles at $69/night plus tax for hotel guests, with in-and-out privileges.
SMOKING
1 Hotel San Francisco is a smoke-free property. Smoking in guestrooms or suites will incur a fee of $750 per guestroom or $1,000 per suite. Additional deep cleaning may incur a $500 cleaning fee.
