Rooted in Kumamoto - Craft, Community & Recovery
Experience tatami craftsmanship made from Kumamoto-grown igusa (Japanese rush grass) and a hojicha latte experience inspired by Japan's enduring traditions.
Following recent disaster-related damage in Kumamoto, home to nearly 98% of Japan's domestically grown igusa, all proceeds from the event, excluding payment processing fees, will be donated to local igusa farming communities.
By enjoying a cup of hojicha latte, guests are invited to help preserve a cherished craft and support the communities working to rebuild it.
Hojicha Latte | ¥1,000 (inclusive of tax)
Hosted by Kawata Seijou
In collaboration with maison de RURI and Ruriko Kojima
