Nagon Calligraphy

On 24th September, calligraphy artist Nagon joins us to paint live on a recycled Kimono.
The kimono and ink that Nagon is using have been passed down through many different eras, carrying with them a variety of traditions and techniques.

By bringing these two together, new value is created in something that was once deemed to be discarded.
The same is true of connections between people, and between people and spaces.

Guests can also purchase a bespoke painting by Nagon for ¥5,000, created around their personal “intention.”
