PÆRE

More than a bar, it’s a gathering place where the city’s rhythm meets a warm, inviting space. Inspired by light—both in ambiance and in the moments it sparks—PÆRE captures the essence of connection and creativity. Its name, meaning both “pear” and “lightbulb” in Danish, reflects this duality, weaving seasonal flavors into its cocktails and design. At its core, PÆRE is where locals meet the world, and the world meets the locals.

Chantelle Nicholson is the multi-award winning chef-owner of Apricity (the recipient of a green Michelin star in 2023). As one of the leading female voices in the UK’s hospitality industry, Chantelle is an advocate for seasonality and sustainability, championing veg-forward cooking through both the restaurant and her cookbook, Planted. Originally from NZ, and a trained lawyer, Chantelle is committed to creating a more sustainable future across her operation and activities, whilst also being an independent board member for ReLondon - moving London towards a more circular economy.
