With more than 700,000 annual visitors, Louisiana is the most visited museum for modern and contemporary art in Scandinavia. The museum is internationally recognized for its exceptional exhibitions, and ever-growing collection as well as for its dynamic and vibrant cultural programme. Located a short train ride outside of Copenhagen and surrounded by a waterside sculpture park.

Christian IV's favorite little castle is idyllically located right next to Kongens Have in the middle of Copenhagen. The Renaissance castle today houses the Danish Crown Jewels, which are regularly worn by the country's sitting queen. You can also visit Christian IV's audience chambers and see his sleeping quarters, where he died in 1648. In the Treasury under the castle you can get up close to the Danish Crown Jewels, the beautiful royal crowns and the royal regalia.
The Amalienborg Museum is located in Christian VIII's Palace, one of the four palaces where the Royal Family resides when they live in Copenhagen. After taking a walk through the Royal Family's historic study rooms, you can experience the beautiful Ballroom, which is still used by the Royal Family on special occasions, and see spectacular objects such as the sumptuous wine coolers in the Fabergé Chamber. You can also combine your visit with the Changing of the Guard of the Life Guards on the Palace Square just outside.
The Round Tower is one of Denmark's best-known and most visited buildings. The foundation stone was laid on July 7, 1637, and five years later the tower was completed as the first part of the Trinitatis complex, which was intended to house three things: the Observatory at the top of the tower, the University Library on the floor above Trinitatis Church, and the church itself below.
The Royal Danish Ballet is one of world's best renowned ballet-companies. It was founded in 1748 at Kongens Nytorv where it is still located today.

The Hermitage Hunting Lodge (Danish: Eremitageslottet or Eremitagen) is located in Dyrehaven north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The hunting lodge was built by architect Lauritz de Thurah in Baroque style from 1734 to 1736 for Christian VI of Denmark in order to host royal banquets during royal hunts in Dyrehaven.
