SASHIKO GALS Original Sneakers – Limited Release

The original sneakers created in collaboration with SASHIKO GALS, an artisan collective from Iwate, are inspired by the theme of the forest. Set on a refined grey base, each pair is adorned with the collective’s signature sashiko stitching and meticulously handcrafted over approximately 40 hours, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind piece. 

These exclusive collaboration items are available through a limited, lottery-based made-to-order offering:
Original Sneakers: 5 pairs
Original Sneakers + Wooden Display Set (featuring the same bespoke display currently exhibited at the hotel): 5 sets

Each pair includes a personalized sashiko detail on the tongue, featuring the 1 Hotel Tokyo logo alongside your name (up to five alphabet characters).

The Fine Print
Successful applicants will be notified by email from 1 Hotel Tokyo in the second week of May 2026

Available sizes: 25.0 cm to 29.0 cm (in 0.5 cm increments)
As each piece is made to order, delivery will take approximately 6–8 months.
Payment may be made via an online payment service or in person at the hotel.
Online sales are not available.
