Visited their pop-up at Daikanyama T-SITE today. What impressed me most wasn't the beautiful biophilic design - it was the people. The warmth, the pride in their voices when they talked about the hotel's vision. You could tell they truly believe in what they're building.
In service design, the customer journey often takes centre stage - while the emotional world of the service provider tends to be overlooked. But I believe the invisible atmosphere of a space is shaped by the people who work there - their warmth, their passion. It's hard to measure, but it's the first thing you feel.
Can't wait for the opening.
