Sommelier's Spotlight
Each week, our sommelier selects one bottle of wine to showcase - chosen for its sense of place, craftsmanship, and how beautifully it pairs with our menu. This rotating spotlight invites guests to discover a single bottle in depth, through the lens of the person who knows it best.
This week’s selection: Malbec 2024 “Padrillos” Ernesto Catena Vineyards. Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina
From high altitude vineyards, “Padrillos”, opens with dark plum, violet and blackberry layered with cocoa, graphite and dried herbs. Medium to full bodied, the palate is is plush yet fresh, fine tannins, mineral lift& a long savoury finish shaped by Mendoza’s cool mountain nights. Ideal to have with our club steak.
