Merlot, but not as you know it. Timo Mayer’s approach gives this variety a fresh edge, bringing structure, lift and definition that Merlot rarely shows. It delivers extra depth and generosity, helped by a warm ripening season that amplified ripe black plum and dark cherry. Fine layered tannins and a gentle savoury twist.
