We know dogs are part of our ʻohana too. That’s why we warmly welcome our four-legged guests, with no extra fee. As a pet-friendly hotel in Hanalei Bay, bring up to two pups along for the adventure—because travel is always better with good company.

• A dog-friendly concierge team with information about Kauaʻi's best dog parks, pet shops, grooming salons and more. Oh, also treats!
• The essentials are always available, in case you forgot, including beds, bowls, poo bags, healthy food, and more.
• Lots of hugs and petting from our team, as long as your pup wants them and you don't mind!
Kaua‘i Humane Society
We’ve teamed up with our friends at Kaua‘i Humane Society to showcase the meaningful programs we support. Through our malama programming, we work to support their mission and together we collaborate to spread the message, get animals adopted, and expand on services within areas of the community they aren’t always able to get to.
Cozy Sleepovers
Give rescued dogs an opportunity to connect with you through cozy sleepovers that feel like home in your guest room. These overnight stays provide a home-like environment where they can relax, bond with you, and enjoy the warmth of human companionship for a night or your whole stay.
Field Trip Programs
Wander the island led by curious noses and wagging tails as part of the Field Trip Program and give a shelter dog a break from the kennels all at the same time. Each adventure offers shelter dogs a much-needed escape, nurtures their well-being, and reveals the unique spirit that helps them find a loving home.

We’re also happy to assist with recommendations for pet-sitting or walking services. And of course, our dog-friendly team always has treats on hand—because every good pup deserves one!
House Rules
For the comfort of all guests, we kindly ask that pets stay on a leash or in a carrier while in public spaces. While we know accidents happen, any damages or extra cleaning may incur additional costs. Pets aren’t allowed in dining areas or the fitness center, and a human companion must be present when hotel team members are in the room. Most importantly, pets should never be left unattended—we want every guest, furry or not, to feel at home.
