Celebrity trainer and fitness expert, Body By Simone made her Brooklyn debut at the rooftop at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge for a sunrise workout class that welcomed both locals and hotel guests. Simone is perhaps best known for her signature workout method that has attracted A-List celebrities like Reese Witherspoon, Chrissy Teigen, and Emmy Rossum.

The success of this workout class was important to both Simone and 1 Hotels because it benefitted a really special organization, Bent On Learning. Bent On Learning is a nonprofit organization that works to bring inner-city kids from lower-income households inner peace by introducing yoga and meditation at their schools.

At 1 Hotels we know the importance of exercising your mind, body and spirit which is why we provide our guests with access to weekly Mind and Movement programming in the form of yoga, meditations, strength training and much more. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to find inner peace, so Bent On Learning was a natural fit to serve as the benefiting organization for this event.

Simone guided the sold-out class through some signature cardio moves as the sun continued to rise behind them, before teaching the class some new workouts using her BBSxTheraBand resistance bands. The workouts started to wear down on the group, but Simone’s cheeky commentary kept everyone pushing forward. Simone’s lower body workout using the resistance bands is not to be missed!

When the class was over, attendees stayed behind to enjoy the view and some fresh juices. Everyone was so clearly ready to start their day after a great morning workout with Body By Simone.

Stay tuned for future events with Simone and 1 Hotels, and explore what we have coming up the rest of this month at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge.
