SH Hotels & Resorts was brought to life with a focus on honoring and protecting the world while providing a luxury experience to our guests. As we continue to navigate the global COVID-19 pandemic together, a noticeable and necessary evolution of our DNA and operations has taken place in order to safely and cautiously welcome our invaluable guests and team members back to our properties. We want you, our family, to know that in accordance with guidelines provided by the CDC, we constructed a sanitation and operations plan that takes into account the complete guest experience from before you arrive until you head back home.

Your Arrival
• All hotel guests are welcomed with a wellness kit for their personal use.
• Luggage and packages are sanitized using UV technology upon arrival.
• Guests arrive to a sanitized and sealed guestroom. Guestrooms are sanitized using both hospital grade agents and activated oxygen sanitizing agents.

Our Team
• We're only as strong as our teams. Our team members are equipped with their own hand sanitizer and personal protective equipment which is worn at all times, maintain a six-foot (two-meter) distance, and employ operating procedures to ensure your comfort and safety at all times.
• Each team member is trained on handling guest-facing materials and underwent further health and safety courses prior to reopening our doors.
• Our Food & Beverage Team also underwent health and safety training to ensure food is delivered and handled with new CDC guidelines.


Spaces & Catering
• Nature inspires all of our spaces, but we're seeking to use outdoor or indoor/outdoor spaces whenever possible.
• Updated spacious floor plans allow you to eat and meet at a safe distance from any other patrons. Set-ups allow for six feet of space between chairs, and spaces have six-foot distance markers for attendees to maintain safe distance between each other.
• Larger walkways with dedicated travel lanes keep attendees from bumping into each other or crowding in certain areas.
• Plexiglass shields and table sanitizer can be provided for various setups.
• Our Housekeeping teams are equipped with CDC-approved cleaning products to disinfect all surfaces in your event space. Professional disinfectant electrostatic sprayers continuously disinfect the air and neutralize germs.
• Our serving team members wear masks and gloves at all times, and our kitchen staff practices rigorous cleaning processes.
• In addition, our management team has undergone ServSafe® certification, ensuring enhanced safety training and educational materials.
• As a precautionary measure, we eliminated all family-style and buffet dining experiences. New curated menus have been specifically designed for safe catering. F&B can be provided in a no-contact way, with grab and go pre-made alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and other items sanitized for the utmost safety.
• Attendees will undergo temperature screening before entering the event. Anyone with an elevated temperature or fever will not be allowed to enter.
• Masks will be required for attendees and provided for any attendee who wants one.
• Glove and hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the event. We'll provide enough nitrile disposable gloves for each attendee to wear three times per day, and touchless hand sanitizer stations will be plentiful throughout the space.


Enhanced Technology
• Enjoy enhanced technology for hybrid meetings, including video conferencing, streaming capabilities, and increased bandwidth.
• We offer contactless guest services including check-in, mobile key, television controls, menu ordering and payment, service requests, concierge support, front desk text messaging and check out (service availability may vary by property and stay dates). As new information becomes available, we will continue to grow our efforts in this plan as directed by medical and public health experts to ensure we remain vigilant in our journey to provide the most up-to-date courses of action to keep you safe.

To ensure that we are upholding these stringent new guidelines, we introduced a new role at each of our hotels, a Director of Environmental Health & Safety, who also serves as a resource for guests should they have any questions regarding the security of our hotels. During times like this, our team is here to help guide you through uncertainty, while ensuring that you and your loved ones have an enjoyable, memorable and most importantly, safe stay at your home away from home.
