Chef Daniel Palumbo

For over 20 years, Daniel Palumbo has held top culinary roles at prestigious establishments. Currently, as executive chef at 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay on Kauaʻi’s North Shore, he oversees the resort's six dining venues. Chef Daniel began his career in the U.S. Army, trained at the Culinary Institute of America, and held positions at Michelin-star restaurants in New York. His culinary career led him to progressive roles at luxury hotels, including The Plaza, Lotte New York Palace and St. Regis New York City. Passionate about food and community, Chef Daniel supports local food producers and building the pipeline of culinary talent through educational partnerships.
