Whether you’re making your way to Brooklyn for the coffee, or you’re around town and in need of coffee, we’ve put together a short list of a few of our favorite neighborhood coffee shops.

Williamsburg: Devoción

From their tall, vertical garden that takes center stage, to the huge atrium that allows an abundant amount of natural light, Devoción is perfect for your everyday morning caffeine to those weekend afternoons catching up with friends. Our personal favorite, (besides the incredibly knowledgable & friendly staff, AND beautiful interior) has to be their toro latte. Not a coffee drinker? Their iced Strawberry, Apple, Mint Aromatica is a must. Think iced tea meets infused water with the Devoción touch.

Dumbo: Brooklyn Roasting Company

What’s there not to love about Brooklyn Roasting Company? It’s a huge space, great atmosphere and serves fair-trade coffee & espresso. If you find yourself in Dumbo, Brooklyn Roasting Company is hard to miss. When the weather’s nice out, enjoy your Nitro Iced Coffee by the East River with a gorgeous view of the Manhattan Bridge.

Greenpoint: Homecoming

Where flower shop meets coffee shop, say hello to Homecoming. Freshen up your space with new blooms, and stay caffeinated while you’re at it, maybe indulge in a Dough Doughnut as well. It’s the perfect spot for an afternoon pick-me-up, and to browse for plants and knick knacks for your home. The beautiful floral arrangements really make up for the minimal seating. Just take your coffee & doughnut to go.

Fort Greene: WTF Coffee Lab

This gem of a coffee shop is easily one of our favorites around town, tucked away in Fort Greene. WTF Coffee Lab, is nothing short of every coffee method you can dream of, with excellent Japanese drip. The baristas are incredibly knowledgable and aren’t afraid to throw away a shot if they’re not happy with it. Consider yourself lucky if you live in the neighborhood!

Park Slope: Café Regular du Nord

This quaint and cozy coffee shop is located right off 7th Avenue, and serves carefully brewed La Colombe, and some of the best freshly squeezed orange juice. It’s great for  breakfast on the go, but make sure to get there early – croissants run out in no time. And can we talk about the perfect #ihavethisthingwithfloors photo op? Look at those tiles!

Bushwick: Little Skips!

Little Skips is the charming, neighborhood cafe you’ve always wanted. It’s a colorful space with a revolving collection of art on the walls, and has enough room to hold music shows every now and then. It’s the perfect place for a brainstorm session over a small bite, or for your mid-morning caffeine run. PS. – the early bird gets the window seat(s).
