1 Hotel Seattle is living proof that luxury hospitality, city living, and sustainability can exist in harmony. During contruction, over 75% of construction waste was diverted from landfills. The project also achieved an energy cost savings of 10% compared to similar projects and the building water consumption was reduced by approximately 35% over baseline usage. All of this allows us to remain true to our mission and reduce our impact on the environment as we grow.

Meaningful Materials
1 Hotel Seattle was designed to highlight the areas rich natural beauty and landscapes, where guests are greeted by lush plantings and a monumental, site-specific driftwood sculpture by local artist Alison Stigora. Upon entering the hotel, the ambiance of a dense forest, reminiscent of the Washington ridgeline, envelops visitors as materials like bark and flagstone blur the threshold between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Nature as Art
Moss art pieces inspired by the area's environment of damp greenery grace the walls. Custom live-edge furniture crafted by local vendor Tirto Furniture adds a unique touch to the guestrooms, providing both functionality, warmth and aesthetic appeal. Every aspect of the guest experience at 1 Hotel Seattle is carefully assembled to foster a sense of comfort, style, and connection with both nature and local artistic expression.

1 Hotel Seattle is creatively conserving energy from every angle. From an Enhanced Commissioning of the building energy systems to occupancy sensors installed in rooms to save energy while not occupied - the building will reduce energy costs and usage of natural gas. When you leave the property, explore the city emission-free with our fully electric Audi Q6 e-tron house cars.
Water Management & Stewardship
Throughout this urban oasis, we utilize efficient water systems. Our low-flow fixtures and real-time monitoring optimize and reduce water consumption by 4.3 million gallons per year. Our Aquafine OptiVenn UV system water filtration system utilizes ultraviolet water treatment solutions to give you safe drinking water with zero chemicals or by-products.
