Not to mention, Charlie was the first pup to try our new Dog Days of Summer menu at 1 Hotel Central Park, a special curation of locally sourced salmon, chicken, and ground beef savories and cooling treats such as pup cups, berries, and crispy cucumbers. We spoke with Charlie to fetch the details about her favorite menu items, the secret spots she frequents in NYC, and her future travel aspirations.

Hi Charlie, thanks for chatting with us! You were the first pup to try our new “Dog Days of Summer” menu at Jams at 1 Hotel Central Park. Tell us about the experience and what fellow pups can expect. What was your favorite item?

I'm honored to have been the very first pup to try your new "Dog Days of Summer" menu! The food exceeded my expectations, and let me tell you: I have a pretty distinguished palate. My favorite items were the chicken dish with sweet potatoes and the ice cream dessert. YUM and YUM.

Lei è un viaggiatore esperto. Quali sono i tuoi oggetti preferiti per i viaggi con il cane e per i viaggi in auto?

Grazie! Adoro viaggiare, soprattutto in un posto dove posso nuotare o correre sulla spiaggia, quindi ho raccolto alcuni elementi essenziali per i viaggi con il cane lungo la strada. Sono una ragazza molto attiva, quindi ho sempre con me una borraccia per cani per rimanere idratata. Naturalmente, viaggio sempre con i migliori prodotti per la toelettatura per mantenere il mio pelo extra voluminoso dopo le mie avventure all'aperto. Uso i prodotti per la cura dei capelli PRIDE+GROOM.

Quando non siete in viaggio, quali sono i vostri luoghi preferiti per i cuccioli o le gemme nascoste di New York?

I'm an Upper East Sider through and through. I start every morning either off leash in Central Park, or at Carl Schurz Park, which is a little hidden gem oasis right on the East River with not one but two dog parks! I have a whole morning crew who I walk and play fetch with. You can't sit with us. Ok ok, you can, but only if you bring a ball. As far as restaurants, I love when Mom brings me all around the city to dine with her. New York is wonderful in that way. Dogs aren't seen as pets that should be left at home. They are welcomed (and encouraged) at most restaurants with outdoor seating, so it makes being a dog in New York even more of a treat.

What’s one place you haven’t visited yet that’s at the top of your list and why?

Mi piacerebbe molto visitare Israele. È un mio sogno da quando ero un cucciolo e mia madre ci è andata senza di me. Non è una maleducazione? Ho molti parenti e amici lì e per me sarebbe la cosa più importante da fare nella lista dei desideri. Ho sentito dire che a Tel Aviv ci sono le spiagge più adatte ai cani!
