1. Central Park Summerstage

2. NY Philharmonic in the Park

3. Shakespeare In The Park

7. Fourth of July in Brooklyn

8. Night at the Museums – 6/21

Included in the River to River Festival programming, several downtown museums and historic sites will offer free admission and special programming on June 21, from 4-8pm. Though participating institutions have yet to be confirmed, last year’s participants included the 9/11 Memorial Museum, Federal Hall National Memorial & Wall Street Walks among others. 9. Summer Streets- August

The annual New York City tradition that takes over nearly seven miles from the Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park, along Park Avenue and Lafayette. The daylong event is held for three consecutive Saturdays in August and allows attendees a space for healthy recreation. 10. US Open Tennis Championships- August 29- September 11

The nation’s biggest tennis tournament returns to Queens, NY this summer.
