Colas de Aventura: Charla con Charlie, el Pupfluencer, sobre caprichos veraniegos y consejos de viaje

Not to mention, Charlie was the first pup to try our new Dog Days of Summer menu at 1 Hotel Central Park, a special curation of locally sourced salmon, chicken, and ground beef savories and cooling treats such as pup cups, berries, and crispy cucumbers. We spoke with Charlie to fetch the details about her favorite menu items, the secret spots she frequents in NYC, and her future travel aspirations.

Hi Charlie, thanks for chatting with us! You were the first pup to try our new “Dog Days of Summer” menu at Jams at 1 Hotel Central Park. Tell us about the experience and what fellow pups can expect. What was your favorite item?

I'm honored to have been the very first pup to try your new "Dog Days of Summer" menu! The food exceeded my expectations, and let me tell you: I have a pretty distinguished palate. My favorite items were the chicken dish with sweet potatoes and the ice cream dessert. YUM and YUM.

Es usted una viajera experimentada. Cuáles son tus artículos favoritos para viajar con tu perro?

Muchas gracias. Me encanta viajar, sobre todo a sitios donde pueda nadar o correr por la playa, así que he recopilado algunos artículos esenciales para los viajes por carretera con perros. Soy una chica muy activa, así que siempre llevo conmigo una botella de agua para perros para mantenerme hidratada. Cuando no está de viaje, ¿cuáles son sus lugares favoritos para cachorros o sus joyas ocultas en Nueva York?

I'm an Upper East Sider through and through. I start every morning either off leash in Central Park, or at Carl Schurz Park, which is a little hidden gem oasis right on the East River with not one but two dog parks! I have a whole morning crew who I walk and play fetch with. You can't sit with us. Ok ok, you can, but only if you bring a ball. As far as restaurants, I love when Mom brings me all around the city to dine with her. New York is wonderful in that way. Dogs aren't seen as pets that should be left at home. They are welcomed (and encouraged) at most restaurants with outdoor seating, so it makes being a dog in New York even more of a treat.

What’s one place you haven’t visited yet that’s at the top of your list and why?

Me encantaría visitar Israel. Ha sido mi sueño desde que era un cachorrito y mi madre fue allí sin mí. ¿No es una grosería? Tengo mucha familia y amigos allí, y visitar el país sería lo último en mi lista de cosas que hacer antes de morir. He oído que tienen las playas más aptas para perros de Tel Aviv.
