This week, during the non-stop energy of New York Fashion Week, we checked in with Vanessa Hong of The Haute Pursuit to get her top five tips on how to stay healthy and stick to a routine and stay centered while you travel.
1.打包对你来说最重要的东西
健康食品是我的燃料。我旅行时总是带一袋种子和坚果。我还会带上玛卡、姜黄和辣木等适应原,可以添加到酒店早餐中,甚至在需要提神的时候加入热水中。我最喜欢的适应原是Sun Potion的限量版 "Yin Power"。我还喜欢Four Sigmatic的茶卡和灵芝包。我旅行时从不离身。
2.提前计划
时装周期间很难有闲暇时间,但如果有休息日,我会安排上健身课。我最喜欢的是今年夏天开始学习的昆达利尼东方瑜伽(Yoga East for Kundalini),如果我想让自己的臀部得到锻炼,也可以选择 SLT!我还有一份清单,上面列出了我最喜欢的餐厅,这些餐厅的菜单都很健康,非常适合与朋友聚会--如果想吃快餐,那就去 Sweetgreen;如果想吃有氛围的,那就去Dimes;如果想吃高大上的,那就去Kajistu,它专营正神佛教料理(日本传统)。
3.脚踏实地
每次旅行,我都喜欢锻炼身体,保持运动。这是保持头脑清醒和能量循环的好方法。它还能让我感觉棒极了!瑜伽对我来说真的很重要。它是运动中的冥想。它融合了我的一些最大爱好,包括舞蹈、核心训练和正念。当我没有时间上课时,我总是会在房间里进行个人练习(1 Hotels 的室内瑜伽垫让我很容易就能找到一些禅意)。此外,在旅行归来之前,我喜欢进行反思,从内心深处找到一种清晰感。冥想是清理嘈杂大脑的好方法。
4.充电
For me a goodnights rest is much better than a night on the town. During Fashion Week, when many of my friends are all in the same city, I will schedule time to meet up early in the morning or during the afternoon for tea or long, conversation-filled walks.
5.探索
每当我置身于一个新的环境,我都会充满好奇。我带着孩子般的好奇心走过生活(无论是否在度假),而这总是会带来有趣的经历。我的最佳建议要有好奇心。这对灵魂有益。
