Art Basel took over Miami last week and 1 Hotel South Beach became the go-to hotspot for art, #daylife and nightlife, and A-list guests including Alicia Keys, Hilary Swank, A-Rod, Kevin O’Leary aka “Mr. Wonderful,” Venus Williams and Tommy Hilfiger, to name a few.

1. REFUGE, with Architectural Digest

Architectural Digest presented “Refuge,” an exhibition of original contemporary artworks, at The Beach Club at 1 South Beach.

2. RETREAT, a #daylife experience

Each morning began at 1 Retreat, where guests and VIPs had the opportunity to refresh, recharge and restart by getting in an early morning workout, meditation, massage and healthy snack before taking on Art Basel Miami.

3. RUMORS, Ibiza in South Beach

Guy Gerber, an electronic DJ/producer and musician specializes in making music with synthesizers and live instrumentation in the techno scene and beyond, presents Rumors, his first ever U.S. Rumours event at 1 Hotel South Beach.

4. DAYBREAKER, start your day off unlike anything else

1 Hotel South Beach was also the first to host the first Daybreaker party in Miami that incorporated music, dancing and yoga all before 1PM. Think an hour long yoga session followed up by a two hour dance party – sans alcohol. 

5. DANIEL MAZZONE, “the next Andy Warhol”

Contemporary artist, Daniel Mazzone, debuted in Miami at 1 Hotel South Beach with 25 eye catching works of art.

6. FaceValue, an interactive installation in collaboration with Sotheby’s

Party inside an installation where your value is the size of the room.
