Day 02 Weekend Warriors

Early morning drills on the sand to get you mentally and physically prepped for the day’s work

7:00 AM Group Run: Endurance
Close

Pace yourself and get into your zone on this steady group run. Split into pace groups, we will focus on breath, technique and distance on the boardwalk alongside Miami Beach.

8:00 AM Spartan SGX Race Training Class
Close

This 60 minute class will train you in four domains: Athleticism, Power, Strength, and the Mind. Held in every corner of our Gym, Spartan Coaches take you through each domain utilizing exercises integral to developing oneself for race preparedness. Participants will learn obstacle race strategy, including techniques for overcoming obstacles and teamwork.. Class will integrate weight-bearing movements and back-to-basics equipment, from kettlebells to sandbags. And you may also climb, row, run to build all-around fitness. The class will start and end with a motivating / thought provoking idea that ties into the day's focus and end with deep stretching and breathing techniques. We strongly encourage you couple this class with the Endurance 30, before or after, to complete the Race Training experience

3:00 PM Spartan Athletic Yoga: Fast Flow

This strong yoga class flows through well-designed, sequences for a sweaty, intense and exhilarating workout. Emphasis is on strengthening the body by moving through postures and engaging mind to muscle through breath. Excellent cross training for strength, endurance and flexibility

Day 03 Weekend Warriors

7:00 AM Group Run: Sand & Swim

Taking it to the beach, come barefoot and in a swimsuit, prepared to go from short sand runs to ocean swims and back.

8:00 AM Spartan Ripped Class
Close

No better route to getting ripped and HIIT all in the same hour. This class is divided into two parts: high intensity cardio drills and strength exercises. Designed to improve your ability to overcome obstacles. Teams motivate each other in groups for 8-10 minutes before switching places. The purpose of this class is to build muscle, get strong mentally and melt away your stress.

3:00 PM Spartan Mind: Deep Stretch & Visualization

This post-exercise stretch class utilizes long, deep holds to target athlete's most-worked muscles groups, and a guided meditation/visualization exercise to improve focus and concentration. This class is designed to aid in workout recovery, reduce stress and improve the mind-body connection, allowing you to discover your optimal zone of performance.

Day 04 Weekend Warriors

7:00 AM Race Day Warm Up

Meet our coaches on the private beach for a pre-race warm up and motivational session. Learn how to overcome obstacles and train in teams to tackle the race like a true Spartan. All important information will be shared during this warm up and participants will be assigned to their race wave. If you plan on racing, plan on attending!

7:30 - 9:30 AM Spartan Race Experience

Put all of your Spartan Week training to the test through a real Spartan Race experience. Test your strength and agility through this Spartan obstacle course that will take you outdoors and indoors.

10:00 AM Plnthouse Closing Social
Close

Following the race join your teammates for a closing brunch after a weekend of challenges, boundaries, obstacles and accomplishments. Feast up on clean nourishing fuel as our Spartan coaches hand out “metals” for our tremendous efforts. Don’t miss this final well deserved celebration!

Spend time with these certified Spartan SGX Coaches who have completed the SGX program with 16 hours of specialized training from world-class master instructors with a focus on an evidence-based training model derived from the disciplines of kinesiology, exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, health psychology, and sports nutrition.
